Care is skillful and discreet, ensuring dignity and privacy. Our staff pride themselves on their commitment to care, with thoughtful attention to detail.
Our staff undergo training prior to working as carers, and have on-going guidance and assessments at regular intervals so we can maintain the highest of standards. The Home has access to all NHS support services, and clients may have the services of the district nurse where appropriate.
Some of our staff have been working at Bellsgrove for almost 20 years, and all attend regular training to ensure they are up to date in the field of care, and continue to gain relevant experience through in-house and external courses. All staff are trained to NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care. We ensure that all new staff are taught the core values of caring for each client as an individual with regard to privacy and dignity.
We organise our staff to ensure a good skill mix, and there are usually up to four staff during the busiest parts of the day, which include kitchen and care staff, a handyman and administrative staff.
